Our Ages 10–12 Painting and Drawing Class is designed for developing artists ready to work with greater depth, intention, and independence. Students continue to strengthen their technical skills in drawing and painting while refining a personal visual style informed by their interests, ideas, and creative goals.
Lessons incorporate age-appropriate art history and artistic philosophy, introducing students to influential artists, movements, and concepts that shape how art is made and understood. Students are encouraged to think critically about their work—exploring not only how they create, but why they make particular choices in subject matter, technique, and composition.
Through guided discussion, experimentation, and reflective practice, young artists develop confidence in their voice, an understanding of artistic context, and the ability to articulate their ideas visually. At 369 Creative Arts, we nurture thoughtful, curious creators who engage with art as both a skill and a form of meaningful expression.
